Santa’s World Malta allows you to upload personalised digital online content of and for yourself or your family, according to the terms and conditions below.

  1. Definitions:

“digital online content” means any audio-visual or audio-recordings uploaded on the website

“event” means Santa’s World Malta, an event to be organised by the organiser involving but not limited to the creation of a Santa’s village at MFCC Grounds Ta’ Qali over a number of days throughout the months of December 2022 and January 2023.

“Intellectual Property” means developments, methods, processes, compositions, works, concepts, and ideas (whether or not patentable or copyrightable or constituting trade secrets) conceived, made, created, developed or reduced to practice and which may result in Intellectual Property Rights;

“Intellectual Property Rights” means patents, copyright and related rights, trade-marks, trade names and domain names, rights in get-up, goodwill, and the right to sue for passing off or unfair competition, rights in designs, rights to preserve the confidentiality of information and any other intellectual property rights, in each case whether registered or unregistered and including all applications (or rights to apply) for and be granted, renewals or extensions of, and rights to claim priority from, such rights and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection which may now or in the future subsist in any part of the world;

“login user” the adult having created and signed up to the website to make use of the extra features, including, but not limited to, buying tickets and uploading of videos.

“minor” means any children under the age of 18 years for whom the login user is responsible;

“organiser” means any company and individuals employed therein who are responsible for the organising and holding of the event.

“video” means the audio-visual recorded and uploaded by the user on the website through the login user credentials.

“website” means an online collation of web pages titled ‘Santa’s World Malta’ or any other name which the Parties may agree upon from time to time, with the website’s Universal Resource Locator (URL) being

  1. I understand and confirm that:
  2. the digital online content I uploaded shall only be accessible by the organisers of the event and myself as the one having the login user credentials before the event strictly for purposes related to the event;
  3. I am solely responsible for the data uploaded, including but not limited to the digital online content and other personal details contained therein;
  4. the organisers reserve the right to remove digital online content that contains hate speech, abusive, obscene, indecent, or offensive language, or link to obscene or offensive material, contain swear words or other sorts of profanity, contain abusive language towards an individual or group of individuals, promote or advertise products, are designed to cause in any manner nuisance to the organisers or the public in general;
  5. the organisers shall not be held liable for any defects to the digital online content which prohibits them from airing such content to the public on the day of the event;
  6. All personal data shall be processed by the organisers in accordance with the provisions of the Maltese Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679);
  7. I can request the organisers to remove and erase the digital online content any time, but in any case, not less than twenty-four (24) hours before the day when I will be attending the event, by contacting them on;
  8. In absence of a request to erase the digital online content before, the retention period of all content and personal data therein shall be until the eighth (8th) of January 2023 or after the last day of the event, whichever is the latest, and this is as necessary for the organisation of this event;
  9. I have the right to request access to my personal data as well as the right to rectify and where applicable, erase any inaccurate, incomplete, or immaterial personal data; to request restriction of processing, to object to processing, and to request data portability for the data held;
  10. The digital online content shall be aired to the public attending the event on the same day as myself and this according to the tickets bought;
  11. the organisers take all such measures as is reasonably possible, and as are necessary and proportionate to protect all the personal data processed by them;
  12. any intellectual property created and/or pertaining to the Producer are the exclusive property of such Producer and shall remain the Producer’s exclusive property.
